The Troy 45Lb Black Competition Bumper Plate is made with premium rubber that has very little bounce when dropped. The large solid steel core adds durability and allows for a thinner bumper plate. The competition grade bumper plates are accurate to within 1% of their stated weight.
The premium rubber used in our Competition Bumpers allows them to withstand 30,000 drops. They have a dead blow when dropped, with very little bounce. A larger, solid steel core creates a thinner and more durable plate, while a precise 50. 2 mm center hole provides a snug fit on the bar.

Great Plates, Great Customer Service – First the plates. These are the only iron olympic plates that I know of that hold any sort of tolerance which is important to me as a powerlifter.

Update to last review – I am happy to report York's customer service is nearly as good as GTECH customer service. I asked if instead of (4) 35's to replace the incorrect 35's they would send 2 more.
