These rubber plates are full rubber with stainless steel inserts and are great for olympic lifting, slow-lifts, dead lifts etc. The steel inserts are designed to outperform the brass bumpers used by the competition, and are machined to exact tolerances so that they fit on all high quality olympic bars. These bumper plates are also thinner so you can load more plates on the bar, and get more of a workout.
